How to convert InPage to Unicode
- Open your file in InPage, select all the text (Ctrl+A) and copy it (Ctrl+C).
- Paste it in the box above. It will look like random symbols, which is expected.
- Press Convert to Unicode, then copy the Urdu text into Word, Google Docs, Facebook, WhatsApp or your website.
Don't have InPage installed? Use Open .inp file. This works for most InPage 2 and 3 files. It is still in beta, so check the result.
Questions
Why can't I paste InPage text directly into Word or Facebook?
Older InPage versions use their own character codes, not the Unicode standard used by Word, phones and websites. That's why the text turns into symbols. This tool translates those codes into real Unicode Urdu.
Will the formatting (font size, colours) be kept?
No, only the text is converted. Apply the font and formatting again in your new document. For Nastaliq in Word, use a font such as Jameel Noori Nastaleeq or Noto Nastaliq Urdu.
Some words look wrong. What should I do?
Rare symbols and special InPage characters may not convert. The tool tells you how many characters it skipped. Fix those few by hand.

No. Conversion happens in your browser. Your text and files stay on your device.
